AS the Kerry electorate goes to the polls on Friday, February 26, one of the nation’s favourite singers is preparing for a concert that night at Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee.
Following on from her sell-out tour last year, Mary Black and her band are back in Kerry for what promises to be one of the greatest gigs of her 2016 ‘Down the Crooked Road Again’ tour.
However, they are no strangers to Kerry, having performed to fans in Killarney’s INEC on several occasions.

Although this time out, Mary and her band move their gig to the intimate surroundings of the Ballyroe Heights and are really looking forward to singing to what is always a very responsive Kerry audience.
“The tour has been great fun and the reaction has simply been incredible,” Mary explained. “I can’t wait to get back out and perform to the Tralee audience. We love singing with the band, getting on stage singing the songs that people love and want to sing with us. That sort of reaction is great and makes you want to perform more and meet great people afterwards and that is exactly why we are doing with this Irish Tour.”
