A SERIES of ‘Bereavement Information Evenings’ are set to take place for bereaved parents beginning on Tuesday, September 8.
Anam Cara, facilitates support for bereaved parents and siblings to help deal with the loss of a loved one.
The meeting’s will give bereaved parents an opportunity to hear a bereavement specialist talk about the journey through grief and loss after the death of a child.
The monthly parent evening will take place at Recovery Haven, 5 Haig’s Terrace, Killerisk, from 7:30pm to 9pm.
The evenings are being offered free of charge. Complete confidentiality is reserved for parents, on how their child died or how long ago it was.
It is an opportunity for bereaved parents to connect with others going through a similar situation in the confines of a safe and comfortable environment.
