According to Principal Mr. John O’Roarke; “fundraising events are vital to our school to ensure that extra and co-curricular activities that are so critical to the wellbeing of our students can be provided and maintained.

This fundraiser will support the very successful sports programmes of Mercy Mounthawk.  We have qualified again recently for further All Ireland level competitions in basketball (both girls and boys), and at Munster level in Hurling and Athletics and participation at these levels requires funds,” he said.
