Mercy Mounthawk Invites School Community Past And Present To Garden Fete

Mercy Mounthawk students promote the forthcoming Garden Fete.

MERCY Mounthawk is celebrating 20 years since the school was opened in 2002 and is extending an invitation to the whole school community, present and past, to gather to mark the milestone at a Garden Fete this Sunday, May 22, on the school grounds.

There will be fun activities for the kids; face and nail painting, fancy dress, novelty events and sports for the active on the school pitches.

Music and entertainment provided by the students in the marquee and there will be a barbecue, food and refreshments.

The day will also have a multi-cultural flavour to reflect the diversity and cultural richness of the school community.

Minister for Education, Norma Foley and the CEO of the school’s trust body Gerry McGuill, will be in attendance.  The Garden Fete will take place from 2pm to 5pm.
