It’s 1962 in Baltimore, and quirky teenager Tracy Turnblad has one dream: to dance on The Corny Collins Show. When she gets put in detention, the African-American students in the school teach her some of their dance moves, and her new found groove wins her a spot on Corny’s show.

Overnight, Tracy transforms from a nobody into a star, and uses her newfound influence to advocate for racial integration on the television show. With songs such as ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ and ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’, you’re sure to be dancing in the aisles!

Tickets at €18/€15 can be bought by contacting Siamsa Tíre on 066-7123055. Otherwise click here to book tickets for your show of choice.
