Met Éireann Extends Status Yellow High Temperature Warning Until Saturday

MET Éireann has extended its Status Yellow high temperature warning until Saturday.

The warning was to end on Friday at 12 noon, but the fine weather is set to continue until after the weekend.

However, there is a chance of scattered heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas on Friday from  mid-afternoon/evening between 4pm and 8pm.

Even when the warning ends at 9am on Saturday morning, Kerry will bask in temperatures over the mid-20s on Saturday, with a slight cooling to the low 20s on Sunday.

In the meantime, expect hot conditions by day and staying very warm and humid at night. Daytime maximum temperatures generally 27 to 30 degrees Celsius with overnight values not falling below 15 to 19 degrees.
