Met Éireann Issues Rainfall Warning For Kerry

MET Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Kerry and six other counties.

The warning issued this afternoon affects Kerry, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford from 8pm this evening until 9am on Thursday morning.

However, from the look of the Met Éireann predicted rainfall radar, The Tralee area and most of Kerry won’t see any rain until the early hours of Thursday morning, so we can enjoy the sunshine this evening.

There’ll be heavy thundery rain this evening and overnight with accumulations of 20 to 30mm. Torrential downpours in places leading to spot flooding.

At the moment, Thursday looks to be another fine day, if a bit cloudy, in Kerry with temperatures reaching 21 degrees.  Friday also looks mainly dry with temperatures of 23 degrees.
