THERE’S been a few warnings for Kerry issued by Met Éireann over the past few days so it’s no surprise to see this.
A Status Yellow Thunder warning has been issued for Munster, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Offaly, Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. The warning is valid from 1pm to 9pm tonight.
There is a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening bringing localized heavy downpours, hail and localized flooding.
From the look of the rainfall radar on the Met Éireann website, it looks like the Tralee area will have heavy showers in the early afternoon but this will clear.
