Met Éireann Issues Weather Warnings For Ireland

IT’S been freezing but it’s about to get even colder.

Met Éireann has just issued Status Yellow – Low Temperature/Ice warning and a Snow/Ice warning for Ireland this morning.

It will be very cold with temperatures falling to -3 or -4 degrees Celsius. The Status Yellow – Low Temperature/Ice warning is valid from 8pm on Wednesday to 10am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, snow and ice will lead to treacherous conditions some parts of the country, leading to treacherous conditions. That warning is valid from 11pm tonight until 11am on Thursday.

However, looking more locally, it seems that the Tralee area will see temperatures of 0° to 5° tonight and early tomorrow morning, with snow possible but rain also likely. That will clear by 10am to leave another fine but cold day with sunshine prevailing and this cold, sunny weather will continue through to the weekend.
