MANY people enjoyed a healthy end to 2018 when they hit the road for the Optimal Fitness Tralee 5k and 10k Road Race on New Year’s Eve.
Nearly 400 set off from The Rose Hotel in glorious sunshine on the day and they all helped raise funds for the event’s charity partner.
Michelle Greaney of Optimal Fitness presented a cheque to Joe Hennebery of the Kerry Hospice Foundation on Thursday. Michelle extended to big thank you to every volunteer that helped on the day and also to The Rose Hotel, Cliffords Cash and Carry and Subway Oakpark.
Next up for Michelle is a 10-Miler event on February 16 where once again the Kerry Hospice Foundation will be the beneficiary.
