KERRY’S romantic charms could have US audiences gushing when it features in an episode of the hugely popular reality TV show ‘The Bachelorette’
Back in April, ‘The Bachelorette’ which is regularly watched by millions of people every week, was filmed in locations in Tralee and Killarney.

The ABC show will air Monday night in the States with Randles Hotel in Killarney taking centre stage. Sources have said however that filming in Kerry was “so successful” that it was extended from one to two episodes.
While it is understood that confidentiality clauses were put in place with a number of hotels and restaurants in the area, it is rumoured that some filming did take place at the popular Ballyseede Castle Hotel.
The show revolves around a single bachelorette, who gets to know 25 different men over the course of the series with the ultimate aim of tying down one of the lucky lads.
If it makes the cut, this sort of exposure could be a tremendous boost for the popular Tralee wedding venue as its old world charm could well capture the hearts of the American public.
