A big thank you to everyone that was involved in the ‘Happy Hour Walking’ at our club last week to raise awareness for Kerry Mental Health and Well-Being Fest. Thank you sincerely to all who helped look after our walkers all week and to everyone who gave such delicious treats & home baking.

The week began on Saturday the 9th and with each night over the following 7 the crowds grew and grew. U9 Blitz

And well done to the U9 Boys also for their wonderful performances on what was a fantastic day for the club at the U9 Blitz on Saturday. Our club had the pleasure to host five visiting teams, St Josephs Doors Barefield from Co Clare, Castlehaven from West Cork, Adare from Co Limerick and fellow Kerry sides Killcummin and Austin Stacks. The visiting teams along with our own fantastic U9 Teams produced a carnival of football showing the future of football in Munster is very bright indeed. A great deal of thanks must go to Paul Twiss, Liam Doherty and everyone who helped on the day. The main organiser of the event Paul Twiss knitted the event together superbly and Paul wanted to say a few words of thanks for everyone who helped out on the day.

On behalf of the Under 9 management team we would like to thank the following people. Without them the running of the blitz would not have been possible.

Thanks to Mike Murphy for the ground maintenance on the day.

To Paud Hogan & all the Stewards who organised the parking, thank you.

Thanks to the Killorglin Pipe band who paraded the teams onto the field and played the  national Anthem. It made it a very special occasion.
