Walking Track:

We are delighted to see so many people making use of our brand new walking track here at Milltown/Castlemaine GAA. Over the past few weeks we have seen lots of activity on the track which is kindly sponsored by Mid Kerry Veterinary Centre.

We have a few things to note about the use of the track to ensure everyones safety:

The lights for the walking track turn on at dusk and are timed to go off at 10pm each night
Please refrain from cycling on the track to avoid injury to others
All dogs (with the exception of Guide / Assistance Dogs) are prohibited, at all times from entering Club GAA Grounds.

Many thank’s to every for their compliance with all of the above we do have some signage up as guidance and will erect more in due course. We are delighted to see such great numbers making use of the walking track and hope to see more and more people out walking together across the winter months.

Coiste na nÓg News:

Sponsored by Foleys Spar, Milltown

This Week in the Coiste na nÓg:

Well done to all of our U9 players who received their end of year medals last Wednesday evening after a year of fantastic progress where they have played some wonderful football along the way. Having played teams from all over the county this year the U9 footballers finished the year with last weeks fantastic blitz.

Well done once again to all the players and to Paul, Liam and all of their coaching team along with the covid supervisors, parents and everyone else that helped out throughout the year.

Our U11s had no games this week but they will finish off their year over the next two weeks with an exciting internal blitz competition. The competition has been organised by the team manager Garry Murphy and the coaching team and will consist of 4 teams playing games over three nights.

A great scoring system will see the teams scoring the most for using their less dominant foot with the teams accumulating points throughout the competition. Best of luck to all the teams.
