Condolences:
All involved in Milltown/Castlemaine GAA Club were saddened to hear of the passing of Willie Spring of Ballyraemeen, Castlemaine in recent days.
Willie represented the club with distinction both on and off the field and was a former chairperson and three-time winner of the Mid Kerry Senior Football Championship in 1961, 1962 and 1965.
Our deepest sympathies are with Willie’s wife Sheila, his sons Liam, Lactain and Emmett, sister Anna, daughters-in-law Emer, Eileen and Karena, all 8 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & many friends.

Under 8 Girls:
We have very exciting news…our under 8 training is commencing on Monday WEEK, March 21st! We will start at 6.15 and finish at 7.15.
Mouthgaurds are COMPULSORY. Please encourage your child to practice wearing them in the coming week- so they will be used to them before training commences. Covid 19 is still very prevalent so please be vigilant and DO NOT present your child for training if you have any concerns re same. Please be RESPECTFUL and let me know if your child can or cannot attend training. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED prior to starting training. We are all looking forward to a fun filled year of football!

Mid Kerry Senior Football League: Round 6 Result
Milltown/Castlemaine’s Senior ‘A’ side who are kindly sponsored by Almas Takeaway and Bathrooms4U made it three wins from four games on Sunday last after a 1-13 to 0-05 victory at home to Laune Rangers ‘B’ in the Mid Kerry Senior Football League.
County Senior Football League: Division 2, Round 1 Fixture
Milltown/Castlemaine ‘A’ will get their Division 2 County Senior Football League campaign underway this weekend when they welcome Listowel Emmetts to the Paddy Burke Memorial Park for a 2:00pm throw-in on Sunday, March 20th.
County Senior Football League: Division 6, Round 1 Fixture
Milltown/Castlemaine ‘B’ will play host to Kerins O’Rahillys ‘B’ on Thursday, March 17th (St Patrick’s Day) in Division 6 of the County Senior Football League.
Keane’s Supervalu County Minor Football League: Division 4A Result
On Saturday last, March 12th, Milltown/Castlemaine’s Minors had a good victory over Northern Gales to make it two wins from two games. The final score was 4-05 to 0-09.
Keane’s Supervalu County Minor Football League: Round 3 Fixture
Milltown/Castlemaine are on the road next Saturday, March 19th as they take on Castleisland Desmonds at 4:00pm in Castleisland.
St Patrick’s Day Parades:
Milltown/Castlemaine GAA will be taking part in the Milltown and Castlemaine St Patrick’s Day Parades which are at 10:00am in Milltown and 11:15am in Castlemaine. All are welcome and encouraged to bring club flags and club gear.
