Lotto: Sponsored by Almas Takeaway, Milltown

The fortnightly club lotto draw took place on Monday last, March 21st at the club grounds. There was no jackpot winner on this occasion. The numbers drawn were 5, 6, 12 and the bonus ball was 28.

Congratulations to Henry Scanlon, Milltown who matched 3 numbers and will collect €200 as a result.

Our next club lotto draw is scheduled to take place next Monday, April 4th where the jackpot will be €12,600. Get your draw tickets or renew your yearly tickets online on Clubforce or get your tickets for the next draw from all the usual local outlets. Mid Kerry Senior Football League: Round 7 Result
Milltown/Castlemaine ‘A’ travelled to take on Glenbeigh/Glencar last Saturday evening in Round 7 of the Mid Kerry Senior Football League and collected the two points on offer, winning on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-09. Cathal Moriarty and Sean Hogan registered the goals.

County Senior Development League: Division 3, Round 1 Result
Milltown/Castlemaine ‘C’ hosted Renard ‘B’ last Saturday evening and despite a good effort they were beaten by 3-15 to 2-04. Three points separated the sides at half time when it was 1-06 to 1-03 and there was only a point in it as the sides entered the final quarter at 1-07 to 2-03. A strong finish from the South Kerry side seen them take home a deserved victory. Our goals were scored by Liam Roche and Daniel Cronin.

Keane’s Supervalu County Minor Football League: Division 4A Round 4 and 5 Fixtures:
Milltown/Castlemaine will host John Mitchels in a rescheduled Round 4 fixture in the Keane’s Supervalu County Minor Football League this evening (Monday, March 28th) at 6:30pm in the Paddy Burke Memorial Park, Milltown. At present the side have 3 wins from their opening 3 games.

They will travel to Gallarus in West Kerry next Monday evening, April 4th for Round 5 of the County Minor Football League where they will come up against An Ghaeltacht.

Credit Union County Senior Football League: Division 2 and 6 Fixtures
Round 2 of the Credit Union County Senior Football League takes centre stage for our Senior ‘A’ and ‘B’ sides this coming weekend.
In Division 2 on Saturday afternoon, March 2nd, Milltown/Castlemaine ‘A’ will travel to take on Annascaul at 2:00pm.
In Division 6 on Friday evening, March 1st, Milltown/Castlemaine ‘B’ will also be on the road as they take on Kenmare Shamrocks ‘B’ at 6:45pm.

Lee Strand U13 County Football League: Round 1 Results and Round 2 Fixture
It was a victorious start for the two Milltown/Castlemaine U13 sides following their trip to Ballymac GAA on Sunday evening, March 27th.
Milltown/Castlemaine’s White Team led 2-05 to 1-02 at half time before eventually going on to win on a score of 2-11 to 1-04.
Milltown/Castlemaine’s Green Team led 2-05 to 0-02 at half time and in the second half they powered for home, taking the spoils on a scoreline of 4-07 to 2-05.

Next Sunday evening in Round 2, Milltown/Castlemaine’s White and Green sides will take on Firies away with times TBC.

Lee Strand U15 County Football League: Division 3B, Round 1 Fixture
Milltown/Castlemaine will begin their County League campaign this Wednesday evening, March 30th when they take on Ardfert at 7:00pm in Ardfert.

Milltown/Castlemaine Cul Camp 2022
Save The Date – July 25th to July 29th, 2022
The dates for the CUL Camp have been confirmed. However, the website is not open yet to register players for the camp, this will hopefully happen in a few weeks.
Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.
