Please note that the postponed 2021 AGM will be held on Wednesday 15th June 2022 at 7pm in the Clubhouse.
Only club members from 2021 and 2022 may attend.

A late late show in the Paddy Burke Memorial Park on Friday evening as despite being six points down after 55 minutes, 1-03 on the trot from our lads with Sean Hogan landing a crucial goal seen Milltown/Castlemaine ‘A’ take a share of the spoils from the encounter which keeps them in the 3rd and final promotion place on 11 points with three rounds to go.

In Round 9 on Sunday next, June 12th, Milltown/Castlemaine ‘A’ will be on the road as they travel to take on John Mitchels at 2:00pm in Ballyseedy.

Credit Union County Senior Football League: Division 6 Cup, Phase 2 Round 1 Result and Round 2 Update

Milltown/Castlemaine ‘B’ 0-05
Rathmore ‘B’ 1-12
Hard luck to our Senior ‘B’ side who fell to a defeat on home soil against a strong Rathmore side on Sunday afternoon. Our lads were minus a few bodies and that aligned with being reduced to 14 men midway through the first half for a second yellow card made the task more difficult.

Next weekend’s Round 2 Fixture against Firies has been POSTPONED and will be rescheduled.

Kelliher’s Toyota Central Region: Division 2, Round 4 Result
Milltown/Castlemaine’s Minors welcomed An Ghaeltacht to the Paddy Burke Memorial Park, Milltown on Wednesday last, June 1st but unfortunately fell to a 3-14 to 0-16 defeat. They will have no fixture for the next number of weeks due to State Examinations for many of the players. We wish them all the very best of luck.

U-13 News:
Milltown/Castlemaine’s U-13 Green side will travel to take on Killarney Legion tomorrow evening, Tuesday June 7th at 7:00pm. There will be no U-13 training as a result. Training resumes Friday evening, June 10th at 6:00pm on the club field. The White teams next outing will be Sunday next, June 12th when they host Austin Stacks at 6:00pm whilst the Green team will take on Austin Stacks the following evening, Monday June 13th also at the Paddy Burke Memorial Park with throw-in at 7:00pm.

U-7 News:
Milltown/Castlemaine’s U-7 Boys travelled to Glenbeigh on a lovely sunny Wednesday evening last, June 1st for their second Go Games outing of the 2022 season following hot on the heels of their recent visit to Cromane. The boys had a great evening, playing three games in total. Thanks to Glenbeigh/Glencar GAA for being such fantastic hosts.

U-9s Go Games Series:

Our U-9 side will travel to take on Rathmore in Round 5 of the Go Games Series at 6:30pm in Rathbeg on Tuesday evening (tomorrow), June 7th.

U-11s Fixture: Phase 2, Round 2
Milltown/Castlemaine’s U-11 side will welcome Listowel Emmets to the Paddy Burke Memorial Park on Thursday next, June 9th in Round 2 of the Lee Strand County Football League with a throw-in time of 6:30pm.

U-8 Girls:
Our Milltown/Castlemaine U-8 Girls will take on Fossa in a challenge match away in Fossa tonight, Monday June 6th.

Gaelic for Mother’s and Others – Blitz
Milltown/Castlemaine’s Gaelic for Mother’s and Others will play host to Ballymacelligott on Sunday next, June 12th at 10:00am. The challenge match will act as preparation for the sides upcoming Munster Blitz.
