A public meeting will take place on Monday July 2nd in Nagle Rice Community Centre (8.30 to 9.30).  The GAA Club is central to our community here in Milltown and Castlemaine and we are looking forward to seeing as many people from our community at this meeting.

Fleadh Ceoil 2018:

A huge well done to Owen O’ Shea and his team on organising the recent County Fleadh- which was a tremendous success. Congratulations to all the participants in the various competitions over the weekend. We wish all those who qualified for the Munster Fleadh every success.

Gaelic for Mothers and Others:

Our internal blitz for mother’s and others is scheduled for the 1st July, time to be confirmed closer to date. What we are aiming for is family fun, get the kids making banners for the moms, supporting us for a change-with teas and coffees in the club rooms afterwards, If people are feeling generous to donate trays of sandwiches, buns, cakes etc. for all to enjoy after the blitz, it would be very much appreciated. We will need lots of help on the day. Please message the Facebook page if you are free to help with anything.

Mid Kerry Under 14’s:

Well done to Daire McCarthy, Shane O’ Connor, Jack Teahan, Conor Spillane, Liam Roche and Brendan Casey who were part of the Mid Kerry Under 14 panel that claimed victory recently in the County District Championship Cup Final. The final score was Mid Kerry_3/11, Feale Rangers: 4/06.

Our Under 14 Green Team had a wonderful start to their Central Region Competition with a victory over Churchill. Final score was: Milltown Castlemaine: 5/17, Churchill: 3/01.

Well done to their coaches and mentors and a special thanks to our Coiste Na nOg sponsors-Foleys Spar and Burkes Butchers for their very generous support.
