Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Louise Clifford, nee O’ Shea, Kiltallagh, Castlemaine who died recently. Lou, as she was affectionately known, was mother to Lou Quirke, Laharn and the late Brenda King, Kiltallagh. May Lou Rest In Peace.

Get Well Wishes:

We think of all in our community who are sick at this time- particularly any of our club members. We wish you a full and speedy recovery.

 Card Drive:

There was a very festive atmosphere at our weekly Progressive 31 Card Drive on Tuesday last. We had some amazing prizes with fantastic hampers, meat vouchers, floral displays, Yearly Lotto Tickets, fuel hampers as well as bottles of Whiskey, Baileys and Larkins Bracks. Why not join us this Tuesday December 17th for our final card night for 2019 and try your luck!

Fundraising Lotto Jackpot is now: €11,400

Our next Lotto draw will take place in Larkins Bar on Saturday December 28th, with €11,400 on offer. We will also have €400 for a Match 3 along with our 6 consolation prizes.

We will hold a special raffle for all our yearly ticket holders on that night also.

Our lotto jackpot of €11,200 was not won on Friday last, December 13th, but we had 6 very lucky consolation prize winners. Numbers drawn were 15, 30, and 35 with the bonus number being 3.

€50 each to Elena Hostetier and Michael Cronin, Lyre.

€25 each to Lucia Carroll, Meanus Heights, Frank O’ Sullivan, Currow, Brenda Moroney, Dingle and Irene Flynn c/o Langford’s Bar. Congratulations to you all and sincere thanks for all your support.

Senior Football Medal Presentation:

The above presentation will take place in Larkins Bar on Saturday December 28th.The Senior and Junior Player of the Year will also be presented with their awards on the night. Why not come along and join in the celebrations of what has been a great year for all the players of our club on the playing field. There has been much success with our on-going field development also. So a lot to be grateful for and to celebrate!

AGM.

The AGM of our club will take place on Friday January 3rd in the clubrooms. We look forward to seeing you there.

Turning on of the Lights/Carol Service:

A huge well done to all in our community who came together on Sunday evening last for the Turning of the Lights and The Carol Service. A tremendous amount of work organisation goes into these events and all those involved are to be commended for their commitment.
