SYMPATHY:

Our community was saddened to hear of the death of Frances Twiss (nee O’ Leary) on Tuesday last. Frances, along with her husband Pat, son Paul and daughter Gillian have been an integral part of our club for many years.

We send our sincere sympathy to you all and to the extended Twiss and O’ Leary families. Codladh sámh leis na haingeal.

FUNDRAISING LOTTO JACKPOT…ANOTHER MATCH 3 WINNER:

For the 3rd consecutive draw, we have had a Match 3 winner. Drawn numbers were 18, 20, and 28 with the bonus of 24.Comhghairdeas mór do Seamus Kerrisk, Ballyfinnane. €200 is on its way to you Seamus! Our fundraising Lotto Jackpot is now €12,000, with the next draw taking place on Friday February 7th 2020.

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, a win or share in our lotto jackpot could just be what you need to purchase the perfect gift for your loved one! Please ensure that numbers chosen are between 1and 32, that they are always clearly written on the ticket and that the correct part of the ticket and money are in the envelope. We have had quite a number of tickets recently that either had no numbers completed or numbers were very difficult to decipher. ROWING TO SUCCESS:

Comhghairdeas to all who represented Callinafercy Rowing Club on Saturday at the Irish Indoor Rowing Championships, which took place at the UL Sports Arena. Some fantastic results and personal bests were achieved by Sadbh O’Brien, Aobhadh Dillon, Mike & Pat Murphy, Kitty O’Dowd, Abbie O’Reilly, Margo Lawlor, Marie O’Sullivan, Anne & Caoimhe O’Sullivan. A fantastic achievement by you all. Well done!

With celebrity judges, roving reporters and seriously enthusiastic and competitive performers, Easter Sunday Night, April 12th, 2020, Ballygarry House Hotel, is a night you don’t want to miss!

MID KERRY LEAGUE: Our seniors didn’t have the best start to their Mid Kerry League campaign when they were defeated by Beaufort on Sunday afternoon. We hope they will return to their winning ways on Sunday next, when they are home to Cromane.

KERRY SENIORS:

Congratulations to Peter Keane and the Kerry senior panel on a fantastic display of football in their Round 1- National League game versus Dublin, on Saturday evening last.  We wish them all the best against Galway on Saturday evening next in Austin Stack Park.

Huge comhghairdeas to Na Gaeil on their recent All Ireland Junior Final victory. We hope you enjoy the well deserved celebrations.
