Sympathy:

Our club here in Milltown Castlemaine wish to send sincere sympathy to the family of Stephen O’ Donoghue, Rockfield and Lissivane who died on Friday last. Cómhbhrón ó chroí oraibh as bás Stiofán. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

Speedy Recovery:

We wish all those who are ill in our community a speedy recovery to full health. It is a particularly difficult time for all those who are ill with Covid-19. We think of you, your families and all the wonderful frontline staff who work so tirelessly and compassionately-doing their very best to help you return to full health.

Fundraising Lotto Jackpot €12,600:

Our next draw for a jackpot of €12,600 will be on this Friday, February 5th 2020. We will also have a match 3 prize of €200 should the jackpot not be one or our 6 consolation prizes. Míle buíochas to all who contribute to our fundraising lotto jackpot which goes to paying for the day to day running expenses of the club. Your support is very much appreciated. Tickets can be purchased at local shops and businesses.

Walk, Jog or Run for fun!

We have had a fantastic response to our Walk Jog or Run to Croker, a great initiative by Garry Murphy to get us all out exercising. As we go to print, we have nearly completed our task of 270 km.

A huge well done to you all. The photos sent in have been wonderful and really show the fun family element of it all. It is also lovely to see all the cute little canines who are getting in on the act… I notice they are not one bit camera shy!!. Garry will be making a draw for the 4 lucky winners when the target is reached and as you already know, there is a pair of club socks for all participants. Richly deserved no doubt!
