Coiste Na nÓg:
Our Coiste Na nÓg teams have been kept busy by their coaches with the U13, U11 and U9 boys all taking part in skills challenges.
This week saw the start of the big skills competition for our U9s, the first round match ups were drawn by the Doherty family last Monday afternoon and the players took on their first challenge, ‘The Punt Kick’.
The challenge is to see how many punt kicks the players can hit off the wall and successfully catch in 30 seconds alternating between their left and right feet. The older boys in the U13/U11 teams have recently also completed this challenge some attempting as many successful kicks in 60 seconds.
Our U15s are also keeping fit and ready for when the first ball of 2021 is thrown in, by training individually and improving on personal run times every week.
We hope to continue getting all of our juvenile teams active in the coming weeks, hopefully in preparation for when it is safe to return to training. 2021 National GAA Club Draw: Extended
The National GAA Club Draw has been extended. To be in with a chance of winning make sure to purchase your tickets before May 1st 2021.
