This Week in the Coiste na nÓg:

Our U15 Green Team game against Ardfert ended in a win for the visiting side by 1-09 to 3-13.

Our 15s started strongly racing into a 1-06 to 0-02 lead by the first water break but were pegged back by Ardfert our home side leading by a single point at the halfway point.

The visitors took the initiative after the second water break to win on this occasion. Well done to both teams for a great game of football.

Well done to our Milltown/Castlemaine U11 sides last in their Lee Strand Go Games match against Laune Rangers GAA. In the final game of their Gavin White / Adrian Spillane Group both teams showed to fantastic skills and produced 3 brilliant games of football.

We look forward to more great matches from our Milltown/Castlemaine Gaa Club U11s throughout the summer. Many thanks to their coaching team led by Garry Murphy who all but in so much effort with the boys every week.

Our U9 Team played host to Laune Rangers this morning and again showed some fantastic skills and teamwork. There were four teams of 7/8 players for each club with each team playing two games stretching the hour.

It was great to see some news faces on the U9 Team playing so well as well as the older members of the group showing their strengths on the field.

Finish of the week in style our U13 Green side won there Division 4 South group in the County League. Winning all five games along the way they had a battle on their hand for the final group game but saw off the challenge of Currow by a 2 point margin to top the group. Well done to the team, their coaches and thank you sincerely to the covid supervisors and all the volunteers.

Our U13 white team will round off their Phase 1 matches tomorrow evening against Fossa at 18.30.
