Confirmation:

Congratulations to all our club members in the Castlemaine and Ballyfinnane area, who received the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit from Bishop Ray Browne last week.

First Holy Communion:
Best wishes to the boys and girls from Nagle Rice Primary School who will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday next. We hope you will have a wonderful day with your families and friends.

Fundraising Lotto Jackpot:
Our next lotto jackpot draw for €14,200 is on in Larkin’s Bar this Friday, May 5th. We will have €700 on offer for a match 3 along with our six regular consolation prizes. This could be your lucky weekend-so head out and purchase that lotto ticket.

Underage girls Academy:
Our football academy for under 6/8/10 girls continues this Thursday. The venue is Milltown Castlemaine GAA Grounds-6.15 to 7.15.

We would appeal to all parents/guardians to be extra careful at drop off and collection times. The safety of everyone is paramount and we need every ones cooperation with the traffic steward.

Coiste Na n Og:-Celebrating 50 years:

As part of the celebrations, our club will participate in the Killarney Parade on Sunday May 5th at 12 noon. All underage players and their mentors are asked to make a special effort to join in the parade. Please wear your club colours on the day and if you have a flag, please bring it along also.

We had a disappointing turn out at our recent St. Patrick’s Day Parade so we are appealing to all underage players and their parents/guardians to make that extra special effort.

College Students:
Best of luck to all our third level students who are presently studying and completing exams.
Revised dressing room/side-line guidelines:
Please note that under age players are not permitted inside the dressing rooms prior to or after a senior game or inside the surrounding fence wire when a senior game is ongoing.

This is to protect all parties involved. We ask parents and guardians to continually remind their children of this rule which will be strictly enforced. We appreciate your on- going support and cooperation.

Appropriate Football Gear:

Can all underage team managers, trainers/coaches please ensure that all players representing Milltown /Castlemaine are dressed in club colours (Green and White socks and togs)   This is to avoid any inconvenience prior to games.

We would also ask parents/guardians of players to inform their children of this County Board Rule
