Sympathy:

The club extends sympathy to Doris, Elaine, Billy, Michael and their families on the death of John Mangan, Killarney Road, who died on Friday last. John played football in his younger days with Milltown Castlemaine while his son in law, Eugene is presently involved with underage coaching in our club.

May John enjoy eternal peace in heaven.

AGM: Friday November 24th at 7.30 pm.

You are cordially invited to our AGM –Without the involvement of the community, our club will not be able to provide the supports and facilities that are necessary for all the young boys and girls- in our ever expanding community.

We need and would sincerely appreciate some more volunteerism within the club- perhaps you are the person to join us and help Milltown Castlemaine GAA Club develop to its full potential.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Farm Safety:

The IFA are running a farm safety course on Thursday next November 2nd in Tralee Livestock Mart Grounds. Commencing at 1 pm, this will cover all aspects of safe practice on farms and general outdoor living.

In the light of all the recent tragedies on farms, it is hoped that this course will raise even more awareness of all the dangers that are out there and hopefully prevent any further tragedies. Please note, it is open to everybody and not just the farming community.
