Milltown:Castlemaine 1Camp for Future Stars:

A Camp to focus on Sports Development of Primary School Pupils (6-13 years)

will be held in Milltown/ Castlemaine GAA Groundsfrom Tuesday August 16th to Friday August 19 2016-Time:10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Bookings to be received by August 7th. Cost- €35 if booked by August 5th!

Anthony Morris Fund -Milltown/Castlemaine GAA would like to invite all clubs to our annual Under 10 Blitz on Sunday 21st August -beginning at 11am in Milltown Castlemaine GAA Grounds. Teams are 11 a side. There will be four groups of four -with each team guaranteed three games in Phase 1.

Top team in each group qualify for Section A semi finals;

2nd place qualify for Section B semi finals:

3rd place teams – Section C semi finals:

4th place – Section D semi finals.

This guarantees each team 4 games.

We are sure that all teams will enjoy what in essence is a fun day for budding GAA enthusiasts.

More importantly, all proceeds from the day’s activities will be given to the Anthony Morris Fund. Anthony, the former Spa, East Kerry and Kerry player, is currently receiving treatment for Lyme’s Disease in America.

There will be refreshments and fun activities on the day. Let’s all play our part in raising as much money as possible for Anthony.

GAA LOTTO DRAW:
The Lotto Jackpot Draw for €10,400 ( generously sponsored by Mike O’Shea and sons- Builders – Farran) will be held on this Monday night August 15th  in ‘The Shanty Bar’, Ballyfinnane.
What would you do if you won the jackpot ?? Go on that much needed sun holiday or upgrade the car. There are so many things you could do if you won! So head out and buy that lotto ticket now -available from local businesses and regular ticket sellers.
Match 3 could give you a win or share of €200. There are also six wonderful consolation prizes. Remember – if you’re not in you can’t win …Good Luck !

Leaving Cert Results: Best of luck to all our footballers who will be receiving their Leaving Cert results on the 17th.
Some of you will be thrilled and some will- no doubt -be disappointed.
Everything will be alright in the end. So “if it’s not alright -then it’s not the end”

Cancelled Fun Football:
There will be no fun football this Thursday evening. Will resume as usual on the 18th.

Under 12’s
Comhghairdeas to both Under 12 teams who had 2 good wins over Beaufort and Laune Rangers on Tuesday night. Well done to the team and management! Keep up the good work.

Under 14’s:
Well done to Ian, John, Stephen and the Under 14 boys on a comprehensive victory over John Mitchel’s this evening- securing a place in the final versus Firies. A brilliant display of football by both teams.

M/C U16:
Well done to the Under 16’s on a good performance versus Castleisland Desmonds on Sunday evening last. The final league match vs Rathmore is on this Wednesday evening at 7:00pm sharp at Milltown GAA pitch.
All players meeting at the pitch at 6:20pm.
This is another must win match to ensure they progress to the semi finals. So head down to the club pitch on Wednesday evening and support David Heasman and his panel of players.

Senior County League Rd 10:
Our next opponents are  are Castleisland Desmonds – next Saturday at 7.30pm in Castleisland.
Please come along and support the management and panel.
