St.Patrick’s Day Greetings:

We wish all those who are abroad a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day.

Here at home, we look forward to all our age groups participating in the annual parade. Our town is looking fantastic-thanks to the hard working committee who spent last Sunday afternoon putting up colourful bunting etc.

Let’s make this the best St. Patrick’s Day parade ever.

All Ireland Medal Winner:

Comhgairdeas to our senior player-Gavin McKenna- who won an All- Ireland medal with Tralee I.T. during the week- defeating Waterford I.T. Well done Gavin.

Dr. Crokes:

Best wishes to Dr. Crokes in their All Ireland Club Championship in Croke Park on St. Patrick’s Day.

New Baby:

Congratulations to our former PRO Ger. O’ Sullivan and his wife Karen on becoming grandparents last week. Their son Bryan and partner Michelle are the proud parents of baby- Lexi.  Hope you all have many wonderful times with her.

Closing date for registration: March 31st 2017.

Club registration is now due.

Under 6’s are free.

Juvenile/student and OAP are €30.

An adult is €50, couples are €80 and family membership is €100.

As you will agree, these are fantastic rates- for the juvenile/student/OAP – it works out at 58 cent per week, while a family membership (up to 2 adults and 4 children) works out at just under €2 per week.

And don’t forget that membership entitles you to free entry to all our home Co. League games – worth €30(on production of your membership card) as well as entry to the Munster Final ticket draw and that all important All Ireland ticket draw in September!

Membership also entitles all those aged 18 and over to vote at the AGM.

Certainly great value for money!

Please note that all officers, mentors and trainers must be registered.

All officers, players and mentors need to be registered for insurance purposes with Croke Park. Our registrar John Murphy will be delighted to facilitate anybody who wishes to join our club. Membership must be paid before March 31st 2017. (Registrations after this date will not be issued with a registration card-something that is necessary to gain your free entry to home county league games)

Revised dressing room/sideline guidelines:

Please note that under age players are NOT permitted inside the dressing rooms prior to or after a SENIOR game or inside the surrounding fence wire when a senior game is ongoing.

This is to protect all parties involved. We ask parents and guardians to continually remind their children of this rule which will be strictly enforced. We appreciate your on- going support and cooperation.

Appropriate Football Gear:

Can all underage team managers, trainers/coaches please ensure that all players representing Milltown /Castlemaine are dressed in club colours (Green and White socks and togs.)   This is to avoid any inconvenience prior to games.

We would also ask parents/guardians of players to inform their children of this County Board Rule.
