Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohue.

THE next time the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe, spends his holidays in Kerry his visit will be enhanced from information contained within the new Kingdom of Kerry Tourist Information Booklet.

Minister Donohoe officially launched the new publication on Friday in Tralee and revealed that two of his last three summer holidays have been spent in Kerry.

The brochure, which is a collaboration between Go Kerry and Kerry County Council/Destination Kerry, captures through its imagery and detail the impulse to go and visit Kerry.

The Minister said that the brochure represents the wealth of magnificent experiences and activities on offer throughout the Kingdom of Kerry and captures the value and detail of all the inspiring local tourism experiences across the county.

The brochure was created upon the request of tourism groups and businesses from all areas of the county who have promoted Kerry at domestic and overseas promotions.

Caroline Boland from Go Kerry said: “The overwhelming feedback from these shows has been the need for a county wide brochure with information on all areas of the county. The brochure has delivered on this with strong imagery, tantalising text with the exceptional iconic and hidden local experiences represented.”

The brochure is backed up by an extensive destination website www.gokerry.ie and there is a digital version of the brochure that all members of GoKerry will have access to for their own individual websites and social media platforms. The brochure will be predominantly used for overseas promotions.
