PHOTOS: Minor Champs Help Launch Kerry Hospice Christmas Cards Fundraiser

THE Kerry Hospice Foundation launched its Christmas Card appeal on Monday night with the help of members Kerry’s All-Ireland winning minor team.

This annual fundraiser, sponsored by Kerry Group, hopes to raise in excess of €40,000 towards the continued development and provision of care in the Palliative Care Centre at Kerry General Hospital.

Work is ongoing on the new building, which will bring with it 15 new beds. Total costs of the work is set to be between €5.5m and €6m. The facility will have 15 in patient beds en-suite rooms.
