The Mitchels Road before work began.
IF you’ve been looking to get to Boherbee from the Dan Spring Road (or vice-versa) over the past couple of days then you’ll have noticed the Mitchels road is blocked off.
The watermains is being replaced at present at the junction of Mitchels Road and Mitchels Avenue so the road is now closed to traffic.
It’s an Irish Water project but Kerry County Council is doing the work on their behalf.
The road is expected to be closed until Friday week, June 2, so if you usually use the road to get to Boherbee take a different route.
