Firstly, between Monday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 28, a person was expecting a substantial amount of money in an envelope to be dropped into their letterbox at their home in Caherslee.

The person discovered the money wasn’t there, even though gardaí are satisfied that the other party did deliver the envelope.

Gardaí are looking into the possibility that the person delivered the money to the wrong house, so they are asking homeowners in the Caherslee area if they received an amount of money in an envelope they weren’t expecting, to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

They are also looking for information in relation to an incident of vandalism on Rock Street.

Between Saturday, June 24 and Monday, June 26, the passenger window of a van was broken and the door was damaged. Nothing was taken from the van. If you saw anything happen to a van during this timeframe, please contact Tralee Garda Station.

Also, at Ashe Street, a drill was stolen from a building site between Tuesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 29. It’s a Dewalt battery-operated, black hand drill. If you’ve been offered this for sale, please contact Tralee Garda Station.
