More Freezing Temperatures Overnight But It Will Get Milder For Rest Of Weekend

MET Eireann issued another Status Yellow – Low Temperature/Ice warning for Ireland
this morning but the good news is it is to get milder as the weekend progresses.

There will be hazardous icy conditions in places tonight with a widespread severe frost and pockets of freezing fog. Temperatures will go as low as 4° in the Tralee area in the morning.

However, there will be improving conditions in the west and northwest from early Saturday morning.

The warning is valid from 5pm this evening until 12 noon on Saturday. Tomorrow afternoon will see temperatures of 2° or 3°c and will stay that way into Sunday when temperatures will rise to a 6°. It will remain dry and sunny at times.
