KERRY College of Further Education plans to increase the number of students attending their town centre campus this September.

At the KCFE annual awards on Wednesday evening, Principal Mary Lucey updated those present on future proposed developments.

This included a further expansion of the Denny Street Campus which will see another increase in student numbers in the town centre.

A dedicated College of Beauty in a newly acquired building block is planned to open in September, this will see the establishment of a single location for delivery of all their beauty courses on offer.

Along with the courses offered last year at both campuses, additional newly developed courses will be rolled out again for next September including Tattoo Artistry, Games Art, Advanced Social Care with Counselling, Medicine Counter Pharmacy Assistant, Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning, Fashion Retail, Pre-Teaching for Business Studies and Sports and PE.

For next year, the College is offering a number of courses that will have no fees applied. These include Beauty Therapy, Office Administration, Medical and Legal Administration and Reception and Call Centre Operations.

Principal Mary Lucey again reiterated the fact that KCFE’s aim is to provide a portfolio of programmes that will allow every student in Kerry to study within a particular area without leaving the county.

Denny Street is one of Irelands most historical, prestigious, architecturally renowned and planned Georgian streets, in the very heart of Tralee town centre.

So, who ever came up with the epic idea of having KERRY College of Further Education Campus in Denny Street should literally be given a medal.

Nice to see, looking good and boxing clever KERRY College of Further Education 🙂
