THIS past week has seen a drop in temperatures which have brought with it icy conditions coming into Tralee particularly in the morning.
AA Roadwatch reported that the roads were icy on the Tralee/Dingle road this morning and a stretch of road near the Connor Pass had to be closed for a time due to a crash.
Met Eireann, are reporting no real let up in the cold conditions even though Kerry still remains one of the milder parts of the country at the moment, but the message to motorists to take care while driving.

In general, it’s been a bad week for morning crashes, as in the past few days Gardaí have been dealing with incidents on the Castlemaine/Tralee and Tralee/Abbeydorney roads.
