A MERCY Mounthawk student’s idea earned him a €500 cheque in a  Tralee Chamber Alliance ‘Our Big Idea’ competition.

As part of Enterprise Month, Transition Year students from Tralee were asked their big ideas and opinions on what developments they believe should take place in their town and what kind of business or activities they would like to see in Tralee.

Tiernan Brosnan from Mercy Mounthawk beat off competition from two entrants from Presentation Tralee for the winning idea of a bike park and trail on land near the Tralee Bay Wetlands.
