Mounthawk Students To Go Back To The ‘Roaring Twenties’ For Fashion Show

PREPARATIONS are well underway for a night of fabulous fashion at Mercy Mounthawk gym organised by the school’s Transition Year students.

With a theme of ‘The Roaring Twenties’, hundreds of students and their families are set to enjoy a great show on Thursday, October 24, which will benefit charities M.S Ireland, Baile Mhuire, Ronald Mc Donald House and the school’s own T.Y fund.

There will be a Best Dressed Lady prize on the night which will be judged by Kerry Rose Sally Anne Leahy.

The T.Ys along with their teachers Ms Stacey O’Leary and Ms Mari Kearney (fashion show coordinators), Ms Karen O Carroll Ms Emma Nolan and Ms Andrea Thornton and Ms Christine Ryan (music and dance teachers) have been working very hard over the last number of weeks to put the show together.

All of the latest styles will be showcased from local boutiques designers and milliners including Pamela Scotts, Aoife Hannon, Reel Designs and Paul Galvin. Tickets available by contacting the school on (066) 710 2550.
