THE car park on Edward Street, which has been closed for a number of months reopened on Friday, just in time for the Christmas influx of shoppers.

The Q-Park Group are now operating the multi-storey car-park.

Q-Park is an off-street car parking company who own and manage over 30 car parks throughout the island of Ireland with facilities in  Dublin, Belfast, Galway and Cork.

“We’ve just taken over the management of the car-park,” said Local Area Manager for Q-Park, Aldis Kazakevics. ” We’re still upgrading the facility with new signage and we’ve got some great offers  including three day tickets for €6 and five day tickets for €10. We’ve also got some exciting news coming too in the future,” he said.

Beginning operations in the Netherlands in 1998, Q-Park is now present in 10 European countries with a portfolio over 5,800 parking facilities and more than 800,000 parking spaces. Q-Park came to Ireland in 2002.
