NA GAEIL U12:On Sunday last we travelled to Laune Rangers in Phase 2 of the County League. Again both our teams put in fine performances.

In the first game our lads were unfortunate not to come away with all the points but a draw away to Laune Rangers is always a good result.

The lads have been on a great run of form of late and have adapted to the pace and strength of this Division.

Goals from Cillian Murphy and Graham Sheehy helped secure a very credible draw against a strong Laune Rangers outfit.

Na Gaeil 2.9 Laune Rangers 2.9 In the other match the boys put in a superb display against an equally strong Laune Rangers side. From the throw in we fought for every ball and never gave the opposition time to settle.

Against a strong breeze in the first half we defended superbly with Denis Moriarty a towering presence at the back who’s work-rate was phenomenal. Daniel Hedrickson was inspirational in goals while Sean Barrett , Conail Clifford and Joshua Roche defended heroically and their covering and interplay was very impressive frustrating the Laune Rangers attack time and again.

Aaron Delahunty and Nathan Rodgers rotated from forwards to midfield and both boys were outstanding covering an unbelievable amount of ground.

Along with superb scores and endless running from our dynamic forwards Cian Sheehan and Sean O Connell we were unlucky not to come away with a win. Well done to all! Training continues Thursday 6pm.
