U16    U16 Boys finished their season with a win in the Brendan’s Board Final in a hard fought game in Churchill on Sunday morning last. Churchill were worthy finalists and gave us a great physical game. We played with the wind in the first half and Darragh Reen had his scoring boots on and scored five points from play in the first half with a pointed free from Matthew Burke and a goal from our roving half back Jimi O Suileabhain. We went in at half time up 1-6 to six points

Second half against the wind we turned on the style and played some fabulous off the shoulder football.  All the boys can be proud of their display .We went on to win on a scoreline 3-8 to 1-7 and Darragh Reen collected the trophy on behalf of this fantastic team to round  off an excellent season where we were crowned Co League Div 2 Champions, Div 1 Town Champions and St Brendan’s Board Champions in a year where we only had three defeats to teams we subsequently beat!
