Na Gaeil Ladies 1

Na Gaeil Under 13 ladies team.

Despite missing a few players , we gave a good display of football with our backs Eimear, Brid, Megan, Dearbhla, Aine and Ciara being very strong in defence. We gave away very little in the 1st with a goal apiece from Mary and Emma. We went in at half time with a 2 point lead.

Rangers played the 2nd half with the aid of the wind and used it to their advantage, scoring a couple of long high goals. Winnie was outstanding in goals throughout the game making some great saves but could do nothing about the goals.

With Clodagh and Ailbhe coming in at the backs to stiffen up defence, we went on the attack with scores coming from our forwards Emily, Abi, Isabelle,Siena, Emma,Kayla, Kayleigh and Caragh.

Freya and Mary were working hard in midfield but we couldn’t get enough scores to overcome Rangers. Well done to all players that did so well.
