CONGRATULATIONS: to the Kerry seniors for a great win over over Tyrone last Sunday in Killarney. A very special congratulations to Na Gaeil’s Jack Barry and Diarmuid O’Connor who both had a fine game. Well done boys.

Seniors    The seniors defeated Churchill in the St. Brendan’s League on Sunday morning last. 0 – 12 to 0 – 10. This was a well-contested game in blustery conditions where both sides showed great commitment so early in the year. There is no game this weekend.

MINORS: We play Austin Stacks, away, this Saturday 2nd Feb at 3 30pm. Support needed.

Na Gaeil Under 10 girls at the complex on Sunday morning

UNDER 6: Under 6 football continues in the sports complex on Sunday mornings at

10 00am. It is great go see such good numbers back again on the brand new floor in Sports Complex. .Emphases this week was on fun games and catching and kicking was practiced, with great competition enjoyed by all. .Many thanks to parents who helped, Sarah, and Barry for their good work. Hope to see everyone again next Sunday.

UNDER 14 Training for the Na Gaeil Under 14 Boys will commence on Sunday 3rd February 2019 at 11am in the pitch at Na Gaeil. All players are reminded to bring a mouth guard. Any eligible boys who are interested in trying football are more than welcome to attend.

COMEDY DRAMA: If you enjoyed our comedy dramas over the past two years, then I strongly suggest that you mark the 27th & 28th of February and the 2nd of March in your diary, because the latest offering from the pen of the supremely talented Mary Quirke is currently in rehearsal! The title this year is One Ordination and a Donation, and it is shaping up to be just as hilarious as One Wedding and a Funeral and One Murder and a Christening!

If you were fortunate enough to see the shenanigans last year, you will remember that a modern day miracle occurred at the end of the saga, with the transformation of Holy Water into brandy. Mary continues the story from this point, and the ensuing chaos and hilarity will surely lift the clubhouse roof on all three of the performance nights! Tickets, priced at €20, are now available in the bar, and my advice is to purchase early, because if last year was anything to go by, demand will be massive!!

SCÓR: Our talented Munster Final victors in Léiriú now go forward to represent Na Gaeil, Kerry and Munster at the All-Ireland Scòr Na nÓg Final at The Travellers Friend, Castlebar on Saturday 16th February 2019 and we would like to wish them, and fellow Kerry winners Spa and Sneem the very best of luck.
None of this would be possible without the hard work of mentors Mary Quirke and Margaret Doody so a big THANK YOU to them both for all their efforts and commitment in guiding these talented youngsters in their quest for All Ireland glory. Na Gaeil Abú!!!
