NA GAEIL CYCLE: Na Gaeil cycle took place on Saturday August 27th from our clubhouse in Killeen. Our cyclists had a choice of  routes 40km, 80km & it was amazing to see so many young children involved in the cycle again this year well done to all !

The  weather was on our side again, so with a loud cheer and on the button of 9.30pm off our cyclists went.  On returning to Na Gaeil our cyclists had built up a fine appetite and made short work of the fresh soup, sandwiches & home baking,  which were provided by the parents & friends of Na Gaeil.

Thank you to the helpers for manning the food stops on route by providing much needed rehydration. To the stewards,Safety vehicle drivers, the Garda and to all the cycling clubs who came out to support us,a massive thank you.

We had a barbecue that evening back at the club and it was so good to see so many of the cyclists come back to relax & chat about the days events. As per usual Sean and the  Na Gaeil staff looked after us very well.

NA GAEIL would like to our sponsors Ned O Shea & sons and Declan Costello. A very special thanks to Brian and his team for all their hard work over the last few months. Most of all those eager cyclists who put in the hard miles on the day.

Thank you for supporting our club. (For photos from the event, please click here)
