ALL IRELAND FINAL….It was a proud day for Na Gaeil club on Sunday last to see Jack Barry lining out for Kerry and giving such a marvelous display in the middle of the park.   He had a big impact on the game and his high fielding was a joy to watch.

He is the first player from the club to line out with the Kerry Senior Team in an All Ireland Final.  It is also fantastic to see another Na Gaeil star, Diarmuid O Connor amongst the substitutes on the day.

This talented young player has a bright future ahead of him in the Kerry colours.  Hats off to the Kerry team and management for a brilliant performance in Croke Park.  We wish them the best of luck on Saturday week as we eagerly look forward to another epic battle .

U14    Congratulations to our U14 boys’ football team that defeated St. Pat’s in the St. Brendan’s Board Shield Final last week. Na Gaeil’s Jack Costello received the Man of the Match award.

U12   The U12 boys had away wins over Miltown/Castlemaine and Ardfert in the Central Region competition. Well done to all the lads on these great performances! Next up will be Ardfert and Miltown/Castlemaine at home.

Please come and show your support for the boys. These games are scheduled for Monday evenings. Training will continue as normal, any changes to the schedule will be sent out via usual messaging.

Minor County Final    St. Brendan’s were defeated by East Kerry in the Minor County Final on Tuesday evening last in Austin Stack Park.

It was tit for tat for most of the game with rarely more than a point separating the sides at any stage. But the concession of two goals by St. Brendan’s in the last quarter turned the game in favour of East Kerry.

But the future bodes well for this side as many of these players are under age again next year. Well done to manager Mark Burke and all the Na Gaeil players involved in the side.
