All Ireland Final    The build up to the All Ireland Final continues this week with great excitement in the area as we prepare for our historic trip to Croke Park next Saturday to take on Rarhgarogue/Cushinstown of Wexford in the All Ireland Premier Junior Final. What an occasion this will be for the Na Gaeil Club, its huge band of supporters and the local area in general.

It’s the main topic of conversation by everyone at the moment after our great victory over Kilmaine in Ennis last weekend. Talk of the upcoming General Election has taken a back seat as all our fans prepare for the trip to Dublin.

A large number of young Na Gaeil fans gathered in the clubhouse on Saturday evening proudly wearing the green and white club colours to show their support for the players and they can’t wait to cheer them on in Croke Park next weekend.

How proud the founding members of the club must be. When they got together in 1978 little did they think that their beloved Na Gaeil would be playing in an All Ireland Final in Croke Park over forty years later.

But it has come to pass so don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime occasion. Book your seat on the bus as soon as possible to be guaranteed a memorable day out. Nothing beats being there. Na Gaeil Abú!

Bus to Croke Park    There will be a bus travelling to Croke Park for the All Ireland Final on Saturday January 25th. The cost for adults is €30 and for juveniles is €10. This is fantastic value. The bus will travel home directly after the game. The bus needs to be pre booked so call in to the clubhouse or contact any club officer. Occasions like this don’t come around too often. Croke Park is the place to be on January 25th. Be there. Na Gaeil Abú!!

Hats & Flags For Sale    There are still some Na Gaeil hats, scarves beanies, flags, car flags and children’s wristbands available for purchase in the clubhouse. It is important that we flaunt our club colours as we head to Croke Park in two weeks time and support this great group of players.

Congrats Congratulations to Na Gaeil’s Devon Burns and Darragh Reen who were on the Green C.B.S. football team that defeated Hamilton High School Bandon and will now contest the semi final of this year’s Munster Corn Uí Mhuirí.

Sympathy   We extend our sincere sympathy to the family of the late Tim O’Shea, Laurel Court who passed away last week. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. We also offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Alice Daly, Kevin Barry’s Villas on her recent passing. May she rest in peace.
