round 3 of Div.2. There was no luck for our B team either as they went down to Gneeveguilla B by 1-14 to 2-2 in Div 6.

Sympathy: All in Na Gaeil club would like to express their sincere sympathy to the Lyons
family on the passing of Tom Lyons, Abbeydorney. Tom was a brother of Tony Lyons and uncle of our former players Niall & Colm Lyons. May he rest in peace.

Congratulations: Well done to the club’s Mary O’Connell and the Kerry senior Ladies team
who secured a hard-fought and deserved win against Armagh in Croke Park last Sunday in the National League Div 2 final.

Cumann na mBunscol: There were victories for a number of Na Gaeil players in the recent
Cumann na mBunscol finals in Austin Stack Park. Well done to the boys & girls of Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn who won their final and also to Abbeydorney NS who came out on top in their final.

U9 boys: Well done to our u 9 boys who travelled to John Mitchels last Sunday morning for the first of their Go Games! We fielded 3 teams and some fantastic football was on display. A big thanks to Mitchels for hosting us!

U11 boys: Our 11s had another productive morning at Killeen last Sunday. We once again
worked on our hand passing and also did some blocking drills. We then finished up with a high quality full-length game. Next Thursday we commence our County League with an away trip to Kilcummin.

U13 boys: Na Gaeil Green played Austin Stacks last Sunday evening in Connolly Park at 6pm in very tough windy conditions. We battled hard into the wind in the first half but found it difficult to get the scores. Stacks used the wind well and went in 2-1 to 0-1 up at halftime. However a fantastic second half showed great determination by our lads and our forwards took their scores brilliantly.

Defence worked really hard and linked up with midfield really well. Final score was Na Gaeil 2-7 and Austin Stacks 2-2. Na Gaeil White were on at 7pm in Connolly Park and even though we had the breeze in the first half it was Stacks that played all the good football and went in 2-4 to 0-2 up at halftime. Our lads worked very hard in the second half and did themselves proud to tighten up the game and it finished Austin Stacks 3-7 to Na Gaeil 2-6. Thanks to Austin Stacks for two fine sporting games.

U15 boys: Our u15 lads played Ardfert in round 2 of the county league Div 3B last Wednesday in Ardfert. On an atrocious night for football our lads lost out on a scoreline of Ardfert 3-5, Na Gaeil 0-6. Best wishes to Cathal O’Sullivan who broke his wrist during the game.

Team: Liam Cooper, Jack Kelly, Daragh Morris, Cathal Fitzgerald, Karl Cronin, Ruadhan Clifford, Cillian Griffin, Will Somers, Jamie Schoenmaker, Ryan Sheehy, Conor Lucey, Brian Reidy, Paddy McElligott, David Walsh, Fionn O’Brien. Sub: Cathal O’Sullivan. Round 3 of the competition sees us home to Cordal next Wednesday at 7pm.

U17 boys: Our minors lost out to Tarbert last Thursday in their final game in the county league Div 6B. Final score: Tarbert 4-11, Na Gaeil 1-10.
