Na GaeilAGM: The club AGM was held last Friday the 11th. Chairman Tim Lynch welcomed everyone to the meeting and gave a detailed account of all the activities on and off the pitch during 2015.

Secretary Eamonn Browne also gave a very comprehensive and detailed report of the many successes by all age groups thought out the club. Ned O’Neill gave an outline of the cost of running a successful football club.

Cathy Carey has be complimented on her outstanding management of the club finances and great credit given to her in keeping everything ticking along.

Niamh Burke gave a heartfelt account on what’s involved in running Bingo every Monday night and remained all present that Bingo is for men too!

One of our founder members, Jim Fitzgibbon has decided to step back, Jim a native of Killarney and who taught for many years in Balloonagh School was club secretary for twelve years, PRO for three, Registrar for five and nonstop lotto seller and always willing to volunteer for work on any special occasions.

We wish Jim and family all the best and was  very deserving of the loud  round of applause given. There was some great suggestions and some lively discussion from the floor which contributed greatly to the success of the meeting.

GET WELL SOON: To our members Anne Marie Lucy and Helen Sugrue,who were a little under the weather recently .

BEST WISHES: To Darran Burns who will undergo a transplant in Beaumont hospital on the 4th of January and to his donor Mike Burns. We wish you both a speedy recovery.

SYMPATHY: We extend our sincere sympathy to Eileen Moriarty,on the death of her father Garrett Fitzgerald Annascaul. May he rest in peace.

MONSTER HAMPER: Christmas is just around the corner so NA  GAEIL has a monster Hamper to give away to one lucky person.

This Massive Hamper (the biggest yet!) contains a huge range of Christmas food, drink, Lidl, Peter Marks, Boots and meat vouchers to keep the whole family fed over the festive period.

The Hamper is worth well over €500. €2 each per strip or 5 strips for €5 everyone put their name and contact details on back of tickets. Draw on the 21st of December at Bingo. The very best of luck to all who enter.

LOTTO: The draw for the jackpot of €2,000 took  place on Tuesday evening last. Numbers drawn were 14, 17, 22 and 24.

There was no winner.  €50 winners were Pat Sheehy Betty Culloty . €25 winners were Jer O Sullivan, Jimmy Smith, Kevin Woods and Seamus Mac Gearailt. Next week’s lotto is worth €2,100. All welcome for draw in club each Tuesday at 10.30pm

BINGO: NA GAEIL bingo is on every Monday night At 8.30pm sharp. We have prize money of over €1,000 guaranteed every week with a mini jackpot that increases forthrightly when not won.

A door prize and a halftime raffle with lovely prizes is also a weekly event.A bus service is on 087 2817577.

You can ring this number for pick up and drop off.100% of our fund raised go back into the club directly.

The  bingo is run on a total volunteer basis and a huge thank you to all the parents who offer their time to run this vital fundraiser for the club.

If anyone wants to donate a spot prize to bingo please it at the club marked bingo. Thanks to all our patrons who support our bingo on a weekly basis.

VOLUNTEER: Any club member who wishes to volunteer can do so by giving their details to any club officer.

CARDS: Every Wednesday night in clubhouse. This is a very sociable occasion where you meet your friends for a great night’s entertainment and relaxation.
