Scór: All roads led to Cappamore Co Limerick last Sunday night for the Scór Sínsir Munster Final. We had two entries – Helen Sugrue in the Aithriseoracht competition, and Colm & Sorcha O Suilleabháin, Noelle Kingston, Helen Sugrue, Paul Fitzgibbon, Martin Grealish & Mary Reen taking part in the Nuachleas (stage presentation). Helen was faultless in telling the story of Bryan McMahons ‘The Holy Kiss’, as were all the actors involved in performing ‘Forward Thinking’ by Mary Quirke. Unfortunately we weren’t on the winners podium this time so our dreams of reaching an All Ireland Final will have to be put on hold until 2023! Thanks to all of the above named participants who have worked very hard over the last several weeks to bring their best selves to stage, and of course a huge thank you to Mary Quirke whose writing talent enables us to enjoy such success in Scor. We’ll be rolling along with Scor na nÓg soon. If anyone is interested in this please get in touch with Margaret at 0860855008
