Review of our U11 boys season: Both of our U11s teams had a very successful year. We decided to divide the lads into older 11s/younger 11s groups and this proved to be very successful. With our younger group you could see the progression and development these lads got throughout the year with the high point being reaching the semi-final of the All-Ireland Celbridge Competition where unfortunately mother nature intervened causing it to be postponed at the semi-final stage.

We all felt that we would have won the Competition outright. Our older group went through all the County phases playing some exceptional football at times. My highlight being our fantastic comeback against Keel at home where we showed grit, determination and skill to prevail that night.

These are wonderful attributes to have as we enter into U13s next year. I would like to thank my fellow coaches Adrian, Gavin, JP, Matt and Shane for their help all year also a special word of thanks to the parents who showed fantastic support to our lads both home and away this year and finally and most importantly our 32 wonderful players who graced the pitch this year. Ye were a pleasure to coach and are a credit to your parents.
