RIP: The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to Adrian Donaghy on the death of his mother Tina who passed away just before Christmas in Tyrone. Adrian is a coach with the club’s under 11 team. May Tina rest in peace.

Women’s Fitness: New year women’s fitness classes in Na Gaeil gym Monday to Friday at 7am to 7.40am and weekends at 8.15am. These classes are delivered free of charge to Na Gaeil members. All abilities welcome. Contact Helen Tansley on 087-7631977.
Fundraiser: Na Gaeil GAA Club raises funds for social activities at St. Patrick’s Day Care Centre, Tralee, all in a day’s work out! Na Gaeil GAA Club hosted its inaugural St Stephen’s day fundraising event in aid of all the social activities at St. Patrick’s Day Care Centre, Tralee.
In the shape of a 50-minute circuit session in Na Gaeil gym, Na Gaeil fitness fanatic Helen Tansley put a full house of eager bodies through their paces to compensate for some Christmas day indulgences. Each participant made a donation on the morning and a total of 700 Euros was raised for this local facility“.
My dad who is 93 has started to attend St. Patrick’s Day Care Centre and I cannot speak more highly of the staff and the facility. It’s a lifeline for so many of the elderly in our town. I want to thank all the Na Gaeil members who sweated it out on St. Stephen’s Day to ensure this quick, mood-boosting event was a success.” Helen said.

Review of our Senior Ladies 2022 season: Our Senior Ladies had a good Donal Curtin Cup campaign with some great wins but unfortunately we lost the semi-final v Scartaglen by 2 points. We had a very mixed Senior Championship, we lost at home to both Southern Gaels and Finuge/St Senans but won away to Castleisland and Rathmore.
We made it through to the Senior Championship semi-final v Finuge/St Senans in Lixnaw but we lost by 1 point after a very good performance of football on the day.
Na Gaeil AGM: The club’s AGM is due to be held on January 20th. Any motions or nominations for it (AGM) need to be sent to the club secretary John Keating by January 6th. Everyone is welcome to attend on the night.
Indoor Training 2023: Our juveniles are planning to start training for the 2023 season in the MTU on Sunday 22nd January.
Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.
Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.
