Sigerson Cup 2023: Huge congratulations to Damien Bourke and his UCC team who defeated University of Limerick after extra time in the Sigerson Cup final last Wednesday in Waterford. Damien is the son of Mark and Jacinta Bourke.

Senior Men’s Tralee/St. Brendans Board Fixtures: Our senior mens team lost to Ardfert yesterday in Round 2 of the Lee Strand sponsored Tralee/St Brendan’s Senior League.

Their third and final game in the competition will be next Friday at 8pm in Ballyseedy versus John Mitchels.

U11 Boys: The sun shone down on our under 11 boys during yesterday’s outdoor training. After a warm up and some drills the boys showcased their skills in two exciting games of football. Training continues next Sunday in the MTU at 11am sharp. New members are always welcome. Contact Gavin at 087-2793334.

U17 Boys: Na Gaeil got their campaign underway last Saturday when they took on Duagh in round 1 of Division 4A of the Minor County League. Despite playing against the breeze in the first half our lads led at half-time by 1-10 to 0-05 and they maintained their advantage throughout the 2nd half. Final score was Na Gaeil 2-14, Duagh 1-07.

Subs: Fionn Heaslip, Seán Barry, Ryan Sheehy. Next Saturday the lads are due to play Glenflesk (away) at 1pm in Round 2.

Kerry LGFA: Well done to Mary O’Connell and her Kerry teammates who beat Dublin in Round 4 of the Lidl Ladies National League last Saturday in Austin Stack Park. The win keeps Kerry on top of the Division 1 table. Next Saturday Kerry will be at home to All-Ireland champions Meath. Venue Brosna. Throw-in at 2pm.

Allianz Football League: After a disappointing result against Mayo last Saturday in Castlebar we hope to see a better performance next Saturday when Armagh come to Tralee for Round 4 of the mens National League. Good luck to Jack, Stefan and all the Kerry team.

Kerry FC: Last Friday night former Na Gaeil underage player Seán O’Connell lined out for Kerry FC as they took their place in League of Ireland soccer for the first time. It was a proud night for his parents Troy and Maeve, and his sisters Nora and Mary. Best wishes to him for the rest of the season.

Fundraiser for Earthquake victims: Instead of cooking on Sunday the 12th March, come along to the clubhouse between 4.30pm & 7pm and enjoy a home cooked meal for €10 per adult & €5 per child. This is a fundraiser for the people devastated by the earthquake in Turkey & Syria, & all monies raised will go directly to charities working on the ground in those two countries. Please support.

Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.
