U 8     We had great fun at our last training session of 2016. It was a beautiful day and we had a large turnout. Some friendly clowns made a special appearance “No relation to the Killer Clowns” Both clowns took an active part in training, one happened to be a brilliant referee and the other a fantastic goalkeeper!! See Facebook for some Photos!!
Our end of season social evening is scheduled for next Sunday, 30th of October from 5.30pm. are very hopeful that this might be an extra special day for our club if our seniors take home the cup back to our clubhouse.
A big thank you to all the coaches and the parents who made the 2016 season such a success.
Please support our seniors next Sunday 30th in Fitzgerald stadium at 2.30pm

Na Gaeil Ladies     Na Gaeil v Corca Dhuibhne, U16 Ladies North Kerry League Div 1
We played on Sunday morning in Gallarus in dry light windy conditions. We started with the wind. This was going to be a tough game as we were missing a few players but we got the 1st point through Jadyn. Jadyn scored 2 more points before Erika got a goal.
Corca came back and scored 2 quick fire goals despite strong defending from Aimee and Megan. Sibeal replied with a goal and we had a point from Caragh. Meagan got 2 points before half time after some fine play from the ever running Clodagh O ‘Connor. Corca never gave up and equalised against us before Mary and Freya combined to set up a goal for Clodagh McHugh on the stroke of half time.
Playing into a strong breeze for the 2nd half we had to tighten up defensively ,with Sarah and Eimer starting to win any loose ball and helping to get the ball forward. Erika started the half off with a goal from a free kick.
Clodagh McHugh scored a point with Jadyn making a great run after a pass from Meagan to score a goal. Corca came back at us again but we were holding a 3 point lead due to some great defending and a fantastic save from Aine in goals, Brid and Laoise nearly combined to score a goal but it was saved.
With less than a minute left on the clock, Corca Dhuibhne broke through out defence to score a last minute goal to finish the game as a draw. We worked tirelessly in the 2nd half with each player giving their all and working hard for each other as a team but with Corca Dhuibhne being able to bring on fresh legs, it made all the difference. It was a good start to our Div1 campaign.
